dunlop stock last the longest. metzler and avon have great grip. you need to decide what kind of driving and weather you ride in. i like the combination of one brand on the front for tracking and one on the back for mileage. I just tried a dunlop roadsmart and 6000 miles on the rear, metzler and 4700 miles, stock dunlop and 10,000, and now i am trying the new dunlop from the crossbones rear tire. proper air is the key to life of the tire. i am going to try brigdestone next time on the back because the price is low.
Avon front has been the best so far.
I'm going with the Avons, had some Metz on another bike and they were great handling tires and rode great, but wore out quick. I have a friend that had the same results on Metz's. I have OEM Harley Dunlops now and I am not happy at all with them, they grip terrible and ride rough when cold.
mileage will be hard to beat the Elites 3 but U'll have to go one size bigger on rear..
I've stayed with the stock lops, 11k on rear (twice) , 22k on front just changed this past summer....
Damn Rope it's winter. We'll talk about anything Troll or not, just look at some of the Thread lately.
I'm just tired of seeing the same three thread topics over and over by people who don't bother looking around our thousands of previous threads ya know?
