Default Couple Mods (PICS)

I finally got around to take a few pics of what I got done and what I wanna do. I also want your guys opinion on something.
The first mod I did was send my seat out to Mean City Cycles to get some memory foam in it I also asked them to take some out and back. I wanted to feel like I was sitting in the bike. The Heartland seat was not bad but it was not cutting it. The memory foam feels good. I have not put many miles on it but it feels GOOD!
Second mod was going to HD and picking up the Flush Mount Fuel Gauge(black of ourse). The parts guy and I are friends and I got it for $180. Thanks to Xmas gift certificates it took care of it. The hook up was very easy. I recommend not doing it with a full tank of gas though. 5 gallons of gas is not light. I always fill up before I put it awa so chit happens. Took me about 45 minutes. Could of done it in far less time if I have done it once before. The most painful part is getting to the connection under the tank.
This third mod I wanna do is something I have been putting off for a few reasons. One being money and time. The Supreme Legend Forward Controls. I still need the bracket for my kickstand. I am also wanting to take my Ness brackets off and takin them to local machine shop and makin my own but 4'' long instead of 3''. I know I am gonna do that but $$ is the issue right now.
The thing I wanna ask you guys is........ can I powder coat these forward controls? I would leave the levers and pegs chrome but the rest maybe black or black chrome. I would send them out When I do the brackets. Can it be done? Will there be any issue's with takin them apart and powder coating them?
Thanks Yall!!

Powder coat the brackets. That will look hot. Send them to JRK5892 in the Dyna section. He will hook you up proper. The powder Pro does great work.

Should be able to coat them as long as there is no other rubber on them somewhere. I did mine. No problems. Kickstand too. I like your other mods. I wish i could get those flush mounts for mine.

Looks good Saint. I cant really tell from the pics, but Ive noticed on a few bikes now including my own that the gas cap never sits as flush as the other side.

It definately does not sit as flush as the gauge but it looks way better than what I had. Im cool with it. I do not twist it hard like previous peope have said not to do due to breaking it.
