Thundermax install tomorrow
It sure looks close. Zipper's said their plugs are about an inch longer. Hopefully you can hide some of the wire, but I am sure there is a bunch visible. I appreciate the reply. If you get a picture of the wire routing would you post it or forward on to me?
you bet.
The rear 02 sensor goes between the oil lines at the bottom of the brake side of the oil tank and then threw the bottom of the battery and up. Tried every method. This one looked the best.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but I am gonna I guess.
so I am ignorant about the t-max's but the little I know I always assumed you didn't need to dyno it as the t-max took care of it itself? Could you just explain why you have to dyno it?

I built my top end fresh. I used the dyno not to tune but to utilize as a tool to break my bike in, in a controlled enviroment. No traffic, no red lights, no excessive idiling, no cops. The Tmax ran perfectly. I wasn't on the dyno to measure hp/tq but just to seat the rings..
I didn't doubt that it would, in time, just glad you didn't have to to do any hunting around for a good base map for it to start from.
As for the bring on spring, BRING IT ON!!!!!!!
I'm tired of all this white and clear global warming we have around here.
Kinda fun watching them go nuts down in DC when they get a little bit of a 'dusting'.

PS did you get any numbers off the dyno while you were on it?
So tired of winter...
When I trailered my bike to the shop I had to wait almost 40 min to get my bike warm enough to fire up. When I got to the shop my engine was a balmy -4 Celcius. Same when it was time to go. Had to wait with the fans on for about 20 min as not to cause any shock when we went outside. It was my tuners first time running with the t-max and he was very impressed with how well it kept up. The last run he ran it up and stretched it a bit for an idea. 98tq/95hp as a ballpark. Overall I was happy. It was so loud and almost made me nauseous cause I was standing on the exhaust side bout chest level. This is the method we used. Opinions differ on break in but this one has always made the most sense to me...

Believe it, its amazing how much an engine can 'grow' after its properly broken in and run a bit.
The TMax was working off a amp that isn't exactly right, yet.
But give it some time and mileage and 'maybe' a couple of offset updates and I'll bet good money that if its showing anything over 95/95 now, and it is.
Its going to be closer to 105/102 by the end of a 1000 miles with some nice clean and very slippery Amsoil, Mobile 1 or other super slippery stuff in it.
PS Your going to be a big surprise to the next crotch rocket kid who sneers at your big fat HOG.
