I couldn't find any info on T-max and breaking in on a fresh build. I'm installing tonite but I'm not firing the bike till I'm in front of the fans Sat. I'm starting with map #399. Are you saying I have to disable the autotune?

Found this site and it's close to what my wrench's preferred method of break in is...

no, the t-max software has a feature. because they bike learns as you drive the map changes to match your bike
after a few hundred miles you click the t-max control center and the auto map and it will read and write the learned settings to the bike. you do need to initialize the programing.

Do you have the Autotune option for it?

If so listen to tk353, the man has a bunch of experience with the Autotune setup software.

Also follow the installation directions for the O2 wires. I tried to do it without the directions (didn't get the pages w/unit) the way I 'thought' they should go and they didn't fit nearly as well as they do when you have the directions.

Installed tonite..With the video on my laptop. I have an outlaw pipe so the bungs are in chit spots had to run them different than the video. My part # was 309-360 however on the module the stamped # is 309-350 and the autotune is 309-340 is this the right unit?

yes it is the right unit. they also sell them separate but the 2 part package gives you the ecm and the auto tune in one box
i had to throw away the install instruction and run the front o2 cable over the motor in the wire loom to the front. much easier than running under the engine

Cool thanks, thought maybe I had an old generation module. I am now debating whether or not to throw my fatcat back on. The 02 sensors look brutal. Vance and hines couldn't have picked a less thought out placement for the bungs on the outlaw pipe. Everything went together fairly well except under my seat, there is a plate with riveted posts and nuts that hold the ecm on. once the unit was mounted the nuts had to be ground down to clear the thundermax. That was really the only hic-up. 2 days to dyno....

yep i know about the mounting issue. i used steel tubes from the hardware store and then put the nut above the ecm. the other ideal was to use allen bolts but i would have to drill out the studs and use nuts on the other side.
i just installed these double barrel pipes and being 1 piece it was pain and i installed only the rear o2 until it was mounted. the front was easy with a box wrench
