skipper that what I was looking at doing something different but tasteful, not everyone will like what I will do, but I just trying to be creative and hopefully it looks good...
Im approaching it carefully though, wheels are expensive and just cant replace the at a whim.. But I appreciate the honesty and hopefully I will be inspired and run with my gut feeling.. but please continue to give me your .02 cents.. Thanks
Boy it sure doesn't look like there is enough aluminum there to hold'em together. First pebble you hits gonna dent them rims to ****. Look cool just not sure about function.

Thats funny, usually what I think about wire wheels.. Well, hopefully I wont find out if they skimped on the material...lol
If wire wheels sucked I don't think dirtbikes would run them hell I've hit 2' tall logs w/ my KTM. Good luck man hope she works out. Oh I 'm biased I say go black
joe
i go through the same thing w/color n wheels
that darn blak rocker w/ all blak wheels looks pimp
red does too but ya got to accent it w/ more blak
[QUOTE=grubby;5403793]
needs more but you get the idea, when i first got my rock i wanted to
do something like this bike but fell into the chrome pit again
this is 1 of my all time favorites
mike, that second rocker you posted pics of looks really sweet. I definitely like that black and red combo.
Another idea I had thought of was a gunmetal look. One of my trucks was the same color as your bike with chrome bumpers and trim, but had like medium-dark gray wheels (Hypersilver they called it?) I think that could look freaking sweet. It would definitely be different. I havent seen too much of the gunmetal gray on bikes.
Lots of feedback... thats good.. Mike Im with you one gets torn in two different directions...
Five-Jo....you gave me an idea.. Idont want to mess with any of the chrome but, red ou the center of the wheel.. the 1/2 inch bead dead center of the wheel...maybe..
It's hard to tell until you see it... You should photoshop it just to get an idea of what it would look like... Thats what I did before i went with the all black rims... And once I saw it I knew it was the way to go... Good luck brah!
