Default Crossbones headlight mount

I made a new headlight mount for my 08 Bones. It moves the headlight about 2" lower and a little forward from the stock mount. I like the look better - plus I don't have to move the headlight with my windvest on or off. I used a couple peices of light guage steel, cut, drilled, sleeve and washers. I mounted it on the top bolt of the front shock absorber. I like that it doen't look too homemade.

Yeah, the stock mount always seemed to sit just a little too high for me but those mounts from the bottom seemed a little low.

If you go through the DIY sections here and in the other model sections you'll find a bunch of good ideas like that.
One of the Dyna guys posted that same trick last week I think, but IMHO it looks more like it 'belongs' on a Springer than an FX front end.
