Frame question/Jagg slimline 6 row Installation HELP?

I have a softail with 3" extended forward controls on it. When mounting the Jagg slimline oil cooler im running into a problem. When I move the cooler up the(left tube) Im running into a flat spot on the frame...closest too the motor (inside)..about where it T"s at the top of the frame...This is a factory *Flat spot* the bikes never been wrecked....Question..This flat spot is kinda oblong and cant get a good clamp on too it.....The 1 1/8" is too small and the 1 1/4" is too big...and I cant move it down Ill hit the linkage on my forward controls.... Has anybody ran into this problem? Or move it too the right side? The only problem with that would be running the hose lines too the oil filter adaptor....they mite pinch from the candycane on them.....any help would be appreciate thanks
