PLEASE somebody tell me........ i have the money for pipes and was gonna put them on myself but dont have the cash for computer/dino cause the dealer wants like a 1000 bucks for that...
If all you are doing is putting new pipes on you do not need a fuel management system yet, it does not need to be retuned or dino it unless you want to spend money. If you add a new air cleaner that would require a new fuel management system.
There is a reason people will say you can do one mod (pipes or air filter), but not both without a tuner. It is because the bikes computer can compensate for the increased volume of air from one mod but not both. In order to deal with additional breathing provided by doing both mods together, the fuel management system needs to be given new marching orders (a tuner). A stage one download will allow you to run both, but does not allow the flexibility to allow for future changes to increased fuel demands-- heads, cams, etc. It is also important to keep in mind a tuner can be tweaked to make the exact needs of YOUR motor.
correct on the pipes,,,
As far as the A/c, let me add a little more, U can add a new K&N filter to Ur stock set up and still be ok.. only if U add a complete new a/c like the SE, or any other High performance set up that will allow more air in, then U'll need some kind of F/M..
I installed a RSD Tracker exhaust, Ness Big Sucker filter with a black flame air cleaner cover, and XiED 13.8:1 AFR O2 Sensor inline enrichment device on my Rocker two years ago. It runs great, no lean pops or surging. The plugs look great, and in general, I'm very satisfied with the mods. I guess if I wanted to be 100% sure that the A/F is dead on, I'd get it checked. But for now I find it too good to mess with. Just my .02 cents. Besides, I do all my own maintenance and avoid the dealer unless I have a warranty issue.

Pipes only no need for a change. There is a way to reset the computer so that it will adapt for the new pipes, but I cannot remember how to do it right now. My opinion is that if you add a hi flow filter you need a tuner, regardless of if it is added to the stock setup or not, but that is just me. there are no wrong answers in this thread yet.
