45 today in Spokane, WA. went for about 40 miles. Just had to watch the shaded areas of the roads.
Went by my Indy wrench asked if he would install the Ricor front shock valves I got for Christmas- he siad he would not do it because i did not buy through him...and that after I have spent over 4K with him in 2 years....
Sucked.
On Monday, I rode out to this place called Neptune's Net, which is a hole in the wall biker joint located on Pacific Coast Highway about 12 miles north of Malibu. Total round trip miles was just under 200. The weather was insane, with temperatures in the mid to high 70s. It was a really great ride except for the part where you have to ride down the 405 frwy past LAX; that's never very fun or safe.

mgmmgm: Sounds to me like your Indy wrench guy is a "dick." What kind of Indy guy won't install parts that you buy from somewhere else? Just about everything I buy for my bike comes off of Ebay and my Indy guy is more than happy to charge me the standard shop rate to install the stuff. It sounds like your indy guy isn't happy unless you can screw you over with a little extra mark up on the parts.

Yeah- my Indy is now a "Dick" And will not get a dime of work from me, nor a refferal.
Not the place to post how-do-I do that question in this thread. Will go to other section for that. I think I will see if I can put the Ricor units in myself.
