Thanks and I am working on pics with me on it Mike. Remember everyone who is thinking of ordering Carlini's that they run a little tall. I had originally ordered the 16" Gangsters but I sent them back for the 14" Gangsters instead and I am glad I did, they fit me perfect with their bra riser. I have to admit, my bike rode and handled so well like it was that I almost backed out of the whole ape thing and canned that project. I was so far into it money wise though that I couldn't back out and man am I glad I didn't. I expected it to be harder to handle especially in tight places or parking it and I found just the opposite to be true. It handles with the greatest of ease. I also expected them to be very uncomfortable and again, the opposite is true. My tailbone doesn't even hurt no where near as bad as it did because I sit differently now. I am also glad i went the extra mile with going all internal, man is it clean up front and this hydraulic clutch is the cats *** man, its so easy and smooth. Not am I only glad I went ahead with this project but I can never see myself going backwards to stock bars, cables, clutch and risers. It's that nice and that comfortable aside from looking bad ***.

This looks like a thread I could watch for a while. I'm silently sitting back, bikeless, brainstorming, and waiting for next spring. I sold the "Dark Knight" in March to a local gent.... Only to regret it all summer long. In the spring, though, I'll be back with a vengeance - picking up an 08 or 09 Deluxe - what I should have gotten in the first place. It was a toss up between a 'Luxe and Road King, and after test riding a King, a Heritage, and renting a Heritage for a weekend, I decided to stick with the Softail chassis.. I'm keeping my mod ideas pretty close to heart until then, though. Right now, I'm struggling with 16" or 18" bar height, as well as colors. I know I want gloss black and something (maybe a metallic gunmetal grey?) But I also thought gloss black and a medium flat charcoal would look pretty cool. Anyways.... Here is the old Train - 18" X 1 1/4" Khrome Werks apes on 1 1/4" risers. Enjoy.
