The cargo straps are handy for jackets, blankets, etc without having to use up space in the bags.

Those bags look great.

Do you have a photo from the back showing the space (or not!) between the fender and bag?

Can-do after work today. There is a 1" space between the strut and bag, about a 1/4" more with my setup due to the hitch. You can replace the spacer with removable backrest hardware.

Thanks for all the comments!

My wife has a 2009 FLSTC, can these bags be used with bare-backs, the system that allows you to remove your bags?

I asked about removable but they didn't sound enthused, these things are all about heavy. You can email Ironbags and they will answer any questions with a smile.

Ask and you shall receive maybe.

They supply the hardware and the brace that goes from the center rear of the bag to the forward strut hole. Rock solid.

Those bags look perfect! The fit is really nice and the proportion of that style really suits, and fits, the curve of the bike. Appreciate the pics!

I was wondering if the bag fringe option would lay against the exhaust, but these pics make me think it wouldn't.

Thanks for the extra pics !
