Never tried it on spokes but I know it works great on the polished rear wheel on my night train. BTW, polished is a PAIN IN THE A**. Does anyone know a good plater that coukd splash a little chrome on that wheel for a reasonable price?
Eagle One's Never Dull Wadding works very well on the spoked front wheel. Just pull a little off and run it up and down each spoke and off comes the brake dust, road grim and rust!!!!! Then just buff with a clean soft rag, the stuff is awsome!!!!
I tried that power ball and the polish they recommend on my trucks wheels and it didn't even get the base grime off. My brother said it worked good on his chromed wheels on his truck. My polished eagle wheels may have been to long neglected for that fine polish to work so I resorted to mothers.
I use the original Never Dull (not the Eagle One brand) and it's great for the front spoke wheel. People often ask how my spokes stay so clean. I tell them I sit down on the garage floor every once in a while with the never dull polish tin.
It works okay on the solid rears. It cleans it up, but doesn't take away run marks, I'm assuming that just get caught in the cast wheel. My brother recommended Mothers polish, which they are now called Mothers Billet polish for this. I'll let you know how it turns out...
