I have one on my fatboy. I would never put a passenger on it. It's not to bad of a seat for a short day ride, 100-150 miles and your ready to get off the sadle. I love it around town.
I use a LePera Silhoutte solo with gel when I'm out by myself, but put the Badlander on when I'm packin' a passenger...I've done up to about 500 mile days on it with no complaints from me or my passengers...of course not all bikers asses are created equal, and I don't haul around any big *** women...
I bought a Badlander off of e-bay just last week. I put it on this weekend. Don't care for it. You want it? Send me a pm if you do and we will work it out.
Suppose to fit an 2008 Fat Boy. Leaves a gap at the base of the tank. Looks great.
I have one for my '04 heritage. Looks great and is comfortable for shorter day rides.
For longer rides of 2-up riding I swap the stock seat and pillion back on. It's easy enough to do. I say go for it.
My bike came with a Badlander and it was one of the first things to go. It looked good but IMO not comfortable at all. I changed to a C & C Fast back seat , similar look but IMO much more comfortable, it is wider, lower and back more than the Badlander. I can easly ride all day with my C & C
