Default Lowering Kits on the Deluxe

Have anyone in here has their Deluxe done on a lowering kit for the rear and the front fork? How is the suspension ride? please let me know!

I did the rear on my bike, but not a Deluxe, It's OK a little rougher but fine for me, search the subject, and you'll find a lot of threads. Good luck.

I lowered the front of my Heritage by 2" using a White Bros lowering kit and did the rear with the Platinum Air Suspension (which I love).

Very comfortable and still able to ride the canyons with no problems.

Here's my post I made awhile back. In the first set of photos I had not lowered the bike evenly and was still experimenting.
If you can afford it, go air ride as HarleyGoodies says you will like it more.

I lowered the front of my Deluxe with the Progressive Drop-in Kit (1") and the rear with the Progressive 422's (1.5"). The suspension was much more firm compared to stock and the handling was more responsive (also in part due to the 21" front wheel). The bike rides like a different bike (in a good way) than the stock setup - you do feel the road more but the handling is superior. I would totally recommend it - if you have the $$ I would opt for the air ride rear suspension.
