Default New Softail Owner Here

Just want to introduce myself. I'm stevieg and until about 6 months ago hung out in the Dyna section (I know, the riff raff). Loved my '07 Streetbob and sold it for financial reasons and though I'm no more flush now than then decided I couldn't go any longer without a Harley. I'd toyed with the idea of a Streetglide but being of short stature decided a Heritage would be the next move. So, today I just layed out the money for a pearl white, stock (except for a passenger backrest and saddlebag guards) '07 Heritage with 687 miles. It's pristine like off the showroom so now, the spending begins!
The first thing I did was take it over the C&C seats and ordered a custom fastback seat to get me a little lower and closer than the stock Heritage seat. In fact, if anyone's in the market it's brand spankin' new.
I was planning on getting the Shotguns until the debacle with JD & the good guys at Dr. V-Twin so will see what happens with shocks. I'm definitely adding Big Shots, a PCV and new a/c.
I'll post some pics as soon as I get the bike back from C&C or maybe after the mods.
Glad to be here.

Congrats on the new ride. My softail has just about ruined me for any other bike.

687 miles?? What... driven back and forth from church from a little old lady? Where in SoCal are you?
I've done a lot of research on Air Suspensions. We should talk.
Later.

Thanks guys.
Tom, I'm just a few miles away in Pasadena. I think I tried to find Harley Goodies one time. Nice to know you're just down the road in Monrovia. In fact, my kids go to school in Sierra Madre so I'm over your way a lot. I'd love to talk. When I considered a Street Glide I was looking into the air shocks and then the thread about the Shotguns had me and Shawn from Dr. V-Twin pm-ing each other. Nice to be close to a lot of the sponsors. Met Chuck and Chuy at C&C today, Dr. V-Twin's over in the Valley.
Until recently, never paid much attention to Softails but you know what happens once you own something, you see 'em everywhere.
It's late but I'll pm you in the next couple of days. Nice to meet you.
Steve
PS. Yeah, I couldn't believe I found an '07 with just 687 miles. I was looking at bikes for more $$ with thousands of miles. I got lucky but then again, I shopped all the sites religiously. This one, too. I bought my Streetbob off this site. Even looked at other city's Craiglists every night. Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, Houston, etc. Found mine in Pico Rivera, CA!

WOW!!! Sweet score man!! Welcome to the soft side! I had an 09' Street Bob before I was quickly converted. I loved my SB, but I'm in love with my Crossbones. It's good to hear your back in the saddle again!
