Well I got me a FXCWC and have been experiencing a little wheel hop when coming out of the turns a little hot sometime and was wanting know if any of y'all have replace your stockers with the Progressive 422 shocks?
Was checking some out on EPC and was thinking about buying a set for $366.95 ............... I just may buy them too!
I just installed those a few weeks back - the ride is much more firm than stock and I have mine set to the softest preload. I have not experienced any road hop and really like the way it handles - no more floaty stock ride. It's rides firm but still absorbs the bumps.
Thanks for the info Bugsplat, how does that price sound on them for under $400?
Yeah I took a ride this past weekend, following a few Dyan's and they where riding pretty aggressives around them hills with some real tight turns. A few time the rear end just hopped and that ain't good.
I love them, I got mine set to the firmest preload and my back takes a beating. I am going to set mine a little less on the preload, when I get off my lazy can. They do feel great when you zig zag back and forth, they are more responsive. Eastern Performance is a great place to buy from. When I was shopping Eastern had the best price, check to see if they have a discount word on the front web page for an extra 10% off, is was "eastern". https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-pictures.html

That sounds like a good price, I paid $377 from Phat Performance - this was the cheapest I found. They shipped in 3 days.
I hear ya on the wheel hop - it's scary on a 750 lb. bike
