Default 09 Night Train Price Help

Ok, I am looking at a brand new 09 Night Train Black.

I know dealers are trying to get rid of the 09's, so what do you think a realistic OTD price for it? I was going to offer 12,999 (was going to start with 11,999).

I know that may not work, but why start high.

I appreciate any help with this one.

Good luck with that offer man. I just got my 09 about a month ago and they didn't cut a guy much of a break. At least in the upper midwest. They gave me a couple options: I could pay MSRP and get a free 103" upgrade or take a thousand off. I didn't end up taking the 103" kit since when I do a motor upgrade I want at least a 110" and want to pick what parts are going to go into it. So I took the grand and I was right about 15k OTD with the Black Denim paint. Maybe I paid a little much maybe I didn't but Black denim trains around here were hard to find and thats what I really wanted.

Now if the weather would just warm up and the roads get better so I could actually ride it and brag about the awesomeness of it I would say pay whatever it costs.

Believe me, I know that is too low. I am actually looking to get it OTD for 15 - 15.5K.

I would go and talk to them and see if they make you an offer, tell them your interested but your not sure what kind of deal they can make. They may surprise you and give you a lower price than you thought. At the dealership here they are selling two 09 super glides for about 12,000 out the door. They sold the last Night Train they had for 14,900. It was the same color as mine Black Pearl, but it was all stock. You might be surprised especially if you have a good relationship with the dealer and they want to move the bike.

There are still people who will deal with you, but if you pick up an '09 Train for much under 16K, I'd be shocked...not sayin' it can't be done...and region has a LOT to do with it...
