OK, my OL is on my a$$ about getting the Crossbones set up for 2-up. I have a brawler set on there now. I am thinking about making the swap to a Badlander, or just getting the pillion for the Brawler seat. Either way, I want to be able to switch back to just the brawler. My question is, how do you guys keep the passenger pillion or passenger part of a 2 up seat from screwing up the paint underneath it?
I have a LePera two up and the soft stuff they put under their seat does a great job in not scratching.
I do ride with a buddy that has a less expensive set up. He cut a soft microfiber towel to size and places it between the pillion and fender when he puts it on. Once it is on you can not see the towel at all.

That makes two of us! I got a fire lit under my azz to hurry up and get a passenger pillion for the wifey. I've got the detachable sissy bar, but need to find a passenger pillion to go with my LePera Bare Bones.

I took a piece of leather (from cutting my chaps off) and used some spray adhesive to attach it to the bottom of my 2 up seat. Works great!
