If you go to the Rush web site I believe they have a place where you can hear the different baffles. I have the 2" in my Heritage and sound great. Personally, I could not tell the difference between the 1.75 and the 2 but that is me.
I put a set of 2.0 on my Deuce and they sound great. I have well over 6000 miles and still sounding good. They would still look good if I did not burn my coat on the one pipe. I did not need to re-map but a friend with a 08 Wide Glide did.
Good luck

the 2" on my wifes Heritage are loud..... they sound bad=***, but I think would get irritating all day...but my wife loves it and says her bike sounds like a real bike, my roadking sounds like a mini-bike....she sure knows how to knock a mans d*ck in the dirt lmao!
I put mine on my 09 Fat Bob about three weeks ago and had to run it up and down my street (25ş out but the street was dry). They were exactly what I was looking for. Took it out today and opened it up and they are loud but when you are running at a lower rpm they are not super loud but still sound good. I noticed alot more people looking at me going by them, must have been the pipes. My dealer said nothing was needed with the slip ons and that is where I bought them.
Our 2" is the most popular and most people are happy with this.
The 1.75" does sound very similar to the 2.00" but will mellow out a bit more at cruising rpms. Both make good sound when you crack the throtle.
The 1.50" is just slightly louder and deeper than stock mufflers.
2.25" are for people looking for loud, tuning is strongly recommended for this baffle size.
Remember the larger the baffle the louder and deeper the sound.
I put on the Rush 2" and love the sound. They can be pretty loud when u crack the throttle. Nice n deep sound. My dealer told me some get lucky, and some don't. Told me to put them on and run the bike 20 miles, then check the plugs. Mine were chalky-white, soooo.... off for a dyno tune they went. If they stay dark, or black, you won't need a tune, according to the mechanic. Figured I was paying for the tuneup, so went ahead and put on SERT and stage-1 air cleaner. It gave me 9.73 hp more than gain.
