The only thing I like about the honda is the gas tank other than that...I dont care for it. I really dont care to much what people ride but, I would never buy one of these.

I know it's not easy for you to understand but for many of us part of the allure of a Harley is that fact that they don't run "smooth".

I for one enjoy the pulses and vibrations from both the motor and the road. It lets me know that some serious **** is happening inside those jugs and cases.

If I want "smooth" I'll take the cage.

They were doing a Hell of allot worse back in the days of AMF and they came back to dominate the market and I have no doubt they will do it again.

Guy I work with and myself were having a conversation this morning. He's a big fan of Kaw's and was telling me I needed to check out the new concourse (I think that's the one he mentioned) when I asked why he said "You'll love it, it looks just like a Harley Bagger" to which I replied "why the hell would I want something that "Looks like" a Harley when I already Have a Harley"?

I've had lots of metric cruisers growing up until I could finally afford my Harley. I didn't get it because it was the smoothest or most maint free, I got it because I've always wanted one and I could finally do that for myself.

To each his own. I went and looked at the Fury for my wife because Honda's are reliable, water cooled is good in Vegas, and shaft drives are nice. didn't get it because the fenders are plastic, etc.

I think its a good bike and if someone gets one they will probably be proud to have it. My best bud rides the living $hit out of his raider and it's a kickass bike. 113ci, big frame, nice ride.

Anyhoo, I would certainly ride next to a guy on his Honda, but I would still be riding my Harley...

I also like the old school look a little more, so the Rocker isn't my favorite softy either...

talked with Furry owners and they are happy with the bike and with new exhaust they sound OK. I've thrown a leg over a couple and they feel pretty good. You can't beat the bullet prof build of Honda bikes. I haven't heard anyone laughing at the rider of a Furry at the Outpost anyway. Owned Hondas in the past and they were great bikes. Plastic doesn't pit or rust like chrome will. None of my Hondas where glued together with Locktight.

Thank you, someone who thinks with logic. I like Harleys, I ride with guys who have Harleys. However, the Fury is really nice. I will never understand why Harley guys don't like liquid cooled, and who cares what's under the chrome, plastic, metal, it looks the same, you have to flick it or stick a magnet to it to tell the difference. The Fury also has power off the showroom floor. You don't have to spend to make it faster.

Question

I've read several posts on here about your bike having "soul". I've owned lot's of bikes and have never understood that.

Wait a minute, never mind, I just saw one of your T-shirts.
( If I have to explain you wouldn't understand it.) I get it.
