16 Ga. exhaust for Softails

Will the S/E 16 ga. exhaust from H-D fit the 06 Deluxe? I see them for sale and was wondering what's up? Thanks, Jon

Yes they will. I just installed a set on my 06 Deluxe. They sound good, not obnoxiously loud.

I haven't taken any pictures yet though.

Ok...Now where can I get a set and for what price? They look to be the same as the Vance & Hines staggered, is this true?

They are about the same as the V&H BSS, but with a larger chamber that connects the two pipes and longer baffles. They are quieter than the V&H with the V&H quiet baffles.

HD no longer makes after market SE Performance pipes, which is what the 16 ga fall into, so to find them you will have to find a dealer that still has them in stock from before the MOCO stopped making them.

I figured that was the case, just wondering if anyone had a line on where I can pick a set up. What did they retail for?

They were in the low $ 400.00 (425 + -).

In So Calif , Van Nuys harley Davidson had a set of take offs for salea month ago, they look like new. They wanted 250.00 for them.

You also may find them on E Bay, a lot of people put them on and then want louder pipes .
