That is a funny story. It was supposed to be burly bikini beach bars. I ordered them threw Hill County. When I got them they were not burly bikini bars that I was familiar with.
So I called, emailed, called, emailed and nothing back from them. So I was going to but them up on ebay new and decided to give them a try first.
After some research it turns out they are burly cruiser bars and I love them. They have more rise then the beach and this keeps me from slamming me knees with them but are still wide like beach bars. I did have to extend my wires by three inches.
Nice work..Doesn't feel good doin all that **** yourself?
Sure has hell does when you do not pay that harley tax!!! I did have my indy press my shocks and mount the tire. But hell he sold my old rim for 200 bucks for me so I walked out of there with more cash then I came in with.
Looking good - love the 21" wheel on the Deluxe. Are those wheels DNA's?
No they are stock HD. It is the smooth profile rim. I already had them so I picked up a used one off ebay for 170.00. The thing was money only had 50 miles on it.
I'll admit that I'm not a big fan of the Coppertops, but your bike looks ridiculously good! The mods you've done help the color to really stand out and look way better than it did from the factory.
