Default Does anyone use an Ipod while riding?

Im thinking about getting an Ipod for riding. I have an FXST with V&H short shots. Will I be able to hear the ear buds with these while riding highway speed?

I downloaded the ipod software to my blackberry and bought a wireless headset that is blue toothed to the phone. It works great. no wind noise at all. Music is clear and another great thing is that I can hear when someone calls me and if I am not moving I can answer the call with a push of a button on the headset. Best setup i think that is out there.

I use the Oakley Thump sunglasses with built-in MP3 player and they work out great. I have BR 2-2 and have used them up to about 65-70. I am able to hear emergency vehicles.

Ditch the ear buds, and invest in a set of different ear pieces. Something that has a cone-shaped ear piece....JVC, Sony, Bose, etc all make them. They fit tighter and deeper into the ear canal, pushing the sound deeper, and not blowing out as easily.

Hell yeah I ride with my Ipod. Jammin to Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Atreyu, and even some Metallica. Who needs a big fairing and twelve speakers.

I must be about 1/2 deaf if some of you can ride with the stock ear buds and hear just fine.. I had to crank the volume full bore and could barely hear it even then.. I bought a good set of Etymotic in-ear plugs and they work awesome.. 1/2 volume even at 70+..
