st: 1975 Honda CB125. My first bike. I took this on the freeway and tapped out, it would do 65 (I was a lot thinner back then). I rode every chance I got and put 15,000 miles on it. Mine was orange and the first thing I did was take a hacksaw to the muffler and add a shorty glass pak.

nd: 1976 Honda MT250 Elsinore: My first brand new bike. Dad bought it for me. All my friends had dirt bikes so I had to get one too.

rd: 1978 Kawasaki KZ650. Wow, I've come full circle, my new bike is also a Kawasaki 650. My first big bike. Rode the snot out of it. Road trips, drag strip, my high school commuter. Mine was blue like this one but I had a Kerker 4-1. What a sweet, sweet sound.

th: 1978 Suzuki RC250C. Gave motocross a shot. Raced the junior class, always seemed to come in dead last or next to last.

th: 1979 Yamaha YZ400F: Open class motocrosser. This thing was a beast and scary fast (well back in '79 it was scary fast). Not to good as a trail bike, so I traded it in for a:

th: 1981 Honda XR200R: What a great trail bike. It would go just about anywhere. I think this photo is of a later year. Mine had a black seat.

th: 1983 Honda V45 Interceptor. The first year for the Interceptor. What a bike, what a radical concept. Great all around bike, but I wanted a Harley.

th: 1986 Suzuki VL700 Intruder. Who in their 20's can afford a Harley? Nice bike, nice fit for a short guy like me. Got me hooked on cruisers. Mine was black with the drag bars.
Sold the Intercepter in 1990 and the Intruder in 1994. Had kids, no time to ride, etc. etc.

th: 2007: Against my wife's wishes, bought this '05 Harley Davidson Sporster off Ebay. Flew down to Phoenix and picked it up. Rode across the desert to LA that afternoon and then a brutal, 18 1/2 hour ride back to Seattle the next day. This photo and the next are my actual bikes. The other photos were googled.

th: Bitten by the Harley bug, sold the Sporster and bought this '06 Softail, another Ebay purchase. This time in Orlando and just too far to ride back home. Got this bike last September. Black Pearl, what can I say - beautiful in the sunlight.

th: Got this a few weeks ago, fun bike in the twisties. Easy now, I already got beat up when I posted this new purchase a few weeks ago.
