I have a 2005 Heritage Softail Classic and exchanging tanks..the tank I am putting on is brand new in the box and never used for my vehicle but has been setting in box for about 5 years..tanks looks great, inside of tank just a few small rust spots at different places, but overall not bad at all..my question is can i just wash it out and air dry or should I do something else..thanks

Id fully clean the tank and reseal it. For proper cleaning and sealing id go to a pro shop.
