The 4 degree advance gear will bring the torque curve in sooner. The 204's do have a point where they come in and since I don't have a tach I am thinking it somewhere around 3000 rpm. When it does it pulls real good.
Is this the cam gear?
Hd part?
Motor sound sweet snowed here yestrday so it will be abit before I can road test
I made it out this afternoon the 204s really woke it up!
Pulls strong and sounds sweet lovin the lope!
Wish i had a tach not real sure when the cams kick in but I can for sure feel it in the seat.

No they are made by woods or Andrews, they both offer them. I like the way it idles cool sound. with the gear in there it will come in earlier thats all. The low end is better without the gear but you can feel where they kick in though.

I used to have a picture of my dyno run with the 204's in an otherwise unmolested 96". Torque was just shy of 100. The start to come on in the mid 2's.... peak at about 4 bu pull hard up to 5800. They do not hurt the bottom end over stock and the torque curve is very flat.... I am happy with mine.
