Default easy brackets question

I have a 96 fatboy and I'm planning on putting on saddlebags for longer trips. I'm going to go with the osprey saddlebags with the easy brackets. My question is will the harley quick disconnect sideplates with the backrest still work with the easy brackets?

Yes, but the Edge brackets formerly known as Ghost brackets are better. The angle, hardware and adjustment is better.

I'll have to check on those brackets. Only reason I was wondering about the easy brackets is there included in the price of the saddlebags.

I know this may be stating the obvious, but just make sure you order the ones for the quick disconnect. They offer both versions.

The difference is in the bolt length, the detachables need a longer bolt.
