21 inch front wheel on a fatboy
I am looking to put a new front wheel on my fatboy I was wondering what mods will need to be done to the stock fender to install a 21"x3" wheel. I already installed a set of street glide bags on it and I'm going to order a batwing fairing also. I guess it's going to be a fatglide.

Well, someone mounted a 21" on the front with no fender change and said all was good. I believe it was RedBone. That was not my experience. My fender was rubbing the tire so I had a friend make some brackets to raise the stock fender a bit. I used those until I found a matching Heritage fender. I still have the brackets around here somewhere. The general rule of thumb is if you tape 1/4" tubing in the center of the tire you want it to able to rotate without hitting the fender as tires tend to grow in height at high speeds. You could also get a deluxe fender or any of many makes from aftermarket manufacturers. Mimo has more on the aftermarket setups.
