After reviewing all posts in HDF I intend to buy Samson true duals with Fishtail.
I would like your recommandations :
- noise : is this system loud, compare to Rush Slip Ons 1,75 ? I would not like too loud as I live in Paris (France)
- installation : is it easy to install by myself ? Any special tool required ?
- any tips ?
- what do you think of the Ceramic black ?
Thanks for your help.

I went with the Samson black 28.5 true duals. Haven't had a chance to hear them yet but will report back when I do. Dealer offered me free winter storage and 20% off all parts and labor for work done while in storage, but they have yet to complete the work, that is how my bike looks as of yesterday.

Get the baffled version from what you are saying. I can set you up if you wish. A friend has a black Samson pipe and it is gorgeous.
Hi Doc, apart from the look point of view, what would be the advantage (or disadvantage) of the "True Dual System 4" x 30" Mufflers Sinister Ceramic Black" compare to the "True Dual FishTail" ?

The sound will be a bit different with a fishtail and a different shape pipe, and the bigger diameter the pipe is the more power you can usually squeeze out of them. I am not sure if they have different baffles in them or if they are the same. Drew
While pipes are certainly a matter of personal taste, I think that BlkandChrome gave a great idea. Those new Samson duals with the ceramic black and chrome tips would look very nice on your set up. I've never been one for fishtails on a bike with bags unless the fishtails extend past the bags. If not, they tend to get a little lost in the overall look.
