I did the Street Slammers on my Rock also. Loved the look. I have a 2" tank lift and the throttle cables hit the tank when cranked all the way over with the Street Slammers. Put on a set of 1.5" Novello riser extensions and it looks/feels great with no tank contact (and stock cables worked fine). Goes without saying that you'll have to move the stock front turn signals (I opted for the signal mirrors) to avoid tank contact even with the riser extensions if you have a tank lift. I'll post pics when I get a chance.
The Harley Street Slammers have built in risers. I just ditched the old stuff.
Would you be interested in selling the original risers? I'm trying to get WindVest to design a bracket for a Rocker riser to mount their windshield and need something for them to design around. Please PM me if interested.
Sweet, did you do the install?
If so, how long did it take?
Sorry this is one of the only things that I did not do myself on the bike. I had my mechanic do it for me. That being said the hardest part would be going under the tank and undoing the wires so that you can run the wires internally. Other than that it is pretty simple.
