Default 2006 Fat Boy -revlimiter om board?

Today I rewed a tad to high on the second gear and felt a slight decrease in rpms and torque.
Have my Fatty got a limiter?
(or did I mess up)
also another question. Slight "pops" when releasing from full throttle and downshifting occasionally. Normal?

All the beast.

Toby

Yes, your bike has a rev limiter. Popping on decel could be any number of things. What kind of pipes are you running? Do you have a carb or EFI. If EFI what kind of tuner or do you av he the download or none of the above?

I got a SE freeflow and SE 2-1 with supertrappdiscs. EFI.
tuned "with a plug" according to dealeship to 74HP
don't really know what "a plug" is.
It's tuned with 14 discs. I got 20 now.

Do you know if you have a separate tuning module or the factory download?

A separate. I got the factory "dongle" in a Box. It's nothing fancy like a power commander. More of a plug which is in place of the factory one.
I was told that if I run with the original pipes I could plug this "dongle" again

It's tuned allright. Got the sheets here.

If it's popping on decel a lot I would say it is not tuned alright or you have an intake leak or both. So you have sert or sest. Check for an exhaust leak by holding a smoke up to the exhaust ports in the head. I think you need a retune on the Dyno personally. It should not pop on decel with a good tune.

Thank You DR. V-TWIN
yes. But since that tuning (on a dyno) I put more discs in the supertrapp which gives a more freeflow. Could this cause the popping. (it's not very often. Twice today under a two hour drive with a lot of "forced driving"- also in a very cold weather, and only when I´m "maxing it")
I could remove more disc´s.. but I love the sound right now...
I plan new cams and a powercommander in the near feature.
(and a new retune).
Will occasional popping ruin My Fat Boy until then? It a kind of sounds forceful and sexy...

EDIT: What I need to do is to remove 6 discs. Drive around awhile. If popping still occurs then I take i back to the dealer because I got warranty until June
If no pops, then new tune. Allright? (and new cams which will give me about 80-85HP)

Edit 2:
My intitial thoughts was if putting more discs in the supertrap caused this popping because it is dynoed with fewer discs..

Edit 3: I will also check for exausteleeks with my "incense stick"

(74hp is really enough for me.. But I can´t handle the thought of a few more hp )
