Also check out eBay I got a brand new bub "7" 2-1 for super cheap. There was a a very little bad spot on one of chrome covers but you can't even tell when Looking at the bike unless you get super close. I got it for way under half the price of what's listed on their web site. It sounds really good and you can definately tell the power difference.

As you can see, most folks are going to steer you toward something like Big Shot Longs, Big Shot Staggered, Bub, Bassani, etc. Nothing wrong with that - I think they look and sound great.

You do have the option of putting a different factory exhaust on your Fat Boy, if you're just wanting something different than the stock shotgun exhaust and not really trying to improve performance. Staggered softail exhaust will bolt right up. I bought take off exhaust header pipes from a member on here that was on a Softail Heritage Classic. It was in brand new condition and I paid $50 plus shipping. I have the older SE II slipons with it. I bought them on Ebay from a Harley dealership for less than $150.
You can see it in my signature picture.

I'm quite satisfied with the sound and how it looks, but that set up may not be for you. Good luck with your search.

thanxs for all the replies guy.

I went to BUB site and looked at there systems and they have some nice exhaust systems, actually I like the bub "7" 2-1 that you suggested night09train , thanxs man.

I had the V&H longs on my 97 heritage and I really liked them but I should try something different.

well I have decided on either the BUB 7 2 Into 1 Exhaust($390) or the Supertrapp 2 into 1 ($450), the price is good and they look good/sound good and performance improvements.
Anyone that has experience with either pipes that has any info on them would be much appreciated.
I used the long shots on my previous ride and the big radius 2 into 1 does not suit the bike (IMHO)

I'll try and post some bigger pics of my bub system later on today when I get home from work. Like I said before you can definetly feel the power improvement over the stockers. And I really like the sound it's a deeper sound than the 2-2 I have heard.

Search Hooker on E bay. I picked up a set of long Rebels for $136. They still had some a month ago.
