I've actually got a set of pipes with baffles and without (no-one can beat the look and the sound). I love the sound of the set without baffles, but it seems like without any back pressure, I get the decel pop and the engine overheats. The bike runs better with the baffeled set, but then I sure do miss the rumble. I'll ask Thundermax if they can get me a map specifically for the pipes as opposed to using a generic map. Do you suggest installing some performance rings and do you make any small enough? My email is mdrossoni@yahoo.com so we don't bog down the thread. Thanks Again JR.

the fact that your other set of pipes are straight you would need another map because of the more free flowing exhaust. this also explains the extra heat because you are running a bit lean with straight pipes. the folks at thundermax are great people and i am sure they can help you with a new map.

Thanks.....Tour pak has only been used once...It was bought specifically for a trip to Sturgis a couple years ago.. Trip never happened.. I did a test ride to Maine with the Pak for the girlfriend..... She's gone... Still have the tour pak....lol
