Don't quite understand apes with a batwing? Why move your hands above the built in hand guards of the batwing?

I received my bags a few weeks ago and put them to good use the past week on my trip to the Bikes, Blues and BBQ rally in Fayetteville Arkansas. Fantastic roads in the Arkansas Ozarks made for a very enjoyable trip.

Thinking about getting the Leather Pro leather lower fairings next for riding during the colder months.
