ok im an idiot how do you tighten up the top bolt on the front caliper? i put on my lowering springs today and wasnt paying any attention i just took out the pin and unscrewed it. and now it seems wrong when i screw it all the way in.
also i made a spring compressor for the front so if anyone wants to barrow it i will loan it out for just the cost of shipping insted of you having to buy one for 40 bucks! just pm me and ill send it out as long as i get it back!
So you loan your tools out to just any Tom ,Dick ,or Harry that you never even met? I guess you are either Wealthy or don't care about your tools. Yeah I'd like to borrow it.
like i said i built it and now my bike is lowered and i will prob never use it again. i have no money rapped up into it so if it never comes back then oh well i just figured if someone wanted to use it then i would let them because im a nice guy and if it didnt get returned then looks like the person who kept it is not a nice person i figured a few bucks for shipping would sound better to someone than 40 bucks through j&p or dennis kirk. And as for being wealthy im not, thats why i built the tool.
the world needs more people that does this stuff. remember what a handshake used to mean?
sounds like snook is the type of person that wont return it.
no offence intended.
You sound pretty stand up to me. Not too many left now days. Check to be sure you have your brake pad clip in right. If not when you tighten the bolt it will put to much tension on the pad and your wheel will drag. you should be able to snug that bolt all the way up. hope this helps. Deacon
