First of all to say hi and i dont know if a have to bring beers or something, but you are invited guys...
I have a question:
Im a very proud owner of a FLSTFB 2010 and im interested in lowering que beast, my fat boy lo its a (special) they call it like that in Europe, but when im looking at the front lowerin kit "54758-07" they say if your bike its european you have to buy "54001-04A" also...
Anybody knows if that its correct...?
Thanks
yeah that should be right, i think i read somewhere that the shocks on the back of the Euro/Australian models are different than the US models, so you'll have to change those out too.. honestly though, i'd call a dealer or something over there and ask them to be sure (naturally they'll probably just want to sell you on them anyways, especially if they're anything like US dealers)..
Hey, do 2010/2011 Lo's have the EITMS system? (Engine Idle Temperature Management System).. a buddy of mine says "Have you heard it when it drops the rear cylinder yet?" and im like "wtf are you talking about?" and he mentions when the engine heats up to a point, you lose a cylinder.. looking it up, apparently on all Touring models this is offered, and its to keep the rear cylinder cooler to keep from burning your legs as bad.. but i've never noticed mine doing it.

I was hesitant to put a bag on the bike because i like the "minimalist" aproach, but this thing is a beaut! not too big, not useless small, not flashy yet not crappy...
excuse the cell phone pic's but i dont have a batteries on the big camera.

I like the way it tucks in behind the license plate. That looks good.

I don't "think" they offer this on the softails.... That said, even the models that do have it don't have it turned on from the factory. You have to have the dealer turn the feature on for you.

Yeah i was wondering because my buddy heard it from a friend of his who picked up a 2009 Dyna Wide Glide and that guy said he had it turned on.. might just be blowing smoke from his bung hole though. idk.

I'll know for sure in a few days, my Power Vision arrived today and one dude on the PV thread said it can be turned on with the WinPV software. I asked my dealer about and he said the have it, it's just that the touring bikes can turn it on manually at idle with the throttle.

I read that Softails have it, but that it's not turned on. Also, if you download the WinPV support manual, it confirms that it can be enabled and shows the process. Search for EITMS in the PDF. Enabling it is under Tune Items -> Limits & Switches.
On a side note, this is just another display of how powerful the PowerVision is with the WinPV software and just made up my mind on it really. I was trying to decide between the PV and the PCV.
