That's what I figured he did, but just wanted to be sure before I pull the trigger on the chrome one! LOL The stock one just sticks up WAY too much for my taste. By the way, how much was the chrome one?
Not sure where he got his, I got a chrome one and am having it powder coated.
Dave, I have just got a chrome one too, and im waiting till i have over eight items before i go take mine down for powder coating, its cheaper that way.

Josh, for a quick fix just use original bracket, but buy a smaller plate that will fit inside layback bracket, and for now just fix it to original bracket to get back some street cred, as i did.lol
