How much trouble is it to take the rocker covers off for PCing? I assume you have to remove the tank but I just didn't know if it is a big pain.
I had asked a long time ago about doing this, and if i recall, the answers I had received were that you don't have to remove the tank to do it, just loosen it and lift it up to get access to get some tools on there, once the bolts are out, they lift up only a tad then slide right out
I just noticed that my rear brake light isn't working as a running light. It works fine and lights up when either brake is applied but doesn't work otherwise. Anybody have any ideas? I checked the bulb and both elements light up when I apply the brakes

If you have a test light real easy to check wires under the seat going to the rear under the fender a buddy of mine had a wire rub thru on rear wheel simple fix and with a test light easy to find
I got the brake light fixed. Turned out to be the stupid bulb. For some reason both elements would light up when one of the brakes was applied but it wouldn't work as a running light. A quick trip to the parts store for a new bulb and it's working fine. I guess bulbs are another place Harley skimps on quality. I may be wrong but surely a bulb should last longer then a little under four months and 4000 miles.

Can someone confirm? If it is that easy i may just do mine soon...
Harley makes rocker box bolt specific wrenches. I'm thinking if you get that wrench you can do the job without removing the tank. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense to make a low profile wrench to do the job.

You don't 'have' to remove the tank. Unbolting it front and back and disconnecting the fuel supply line will allow you to move it enough to get the rocker boxes off. Having the Harley specific wrench would really help, but I've done mine with regular box end wrenches, just takes forever 'cause your stroke is about 30 degrees at a time.
I went on a run yesterday to several whorehouses in the next county over and have attached a few photos. Steak / Chicken were also served at the last stop which was a casino. It was a great day for riding both yesterday and today.
