Default Fuel packs or nightrider VIED

I am getting my Roland sands A/C today and have Rush slip-ons already. Was looking into getting the nightrider VIED or fuel pack and if fuel pack which one? I would appreciate any input...

I am still waiting to install my slammers.. and wanting to do it soon..

Are you going to this rally this year?

Hey Stratoscape what year is your Lo. The reason I ask is because 2011 and up the turn signals are wired directly into the hand controls. I did the relocate a couple months ago on my 2011 and did a write up on it.

Hope all goes well with the bars and signals. Would have loved to have been on that ride. I spent the weekend working/sitting around over in Quantico, Va. Back to Wisconsin on the 28th for a week off.

I did not because the one with the LED fuel gauge alone was more than I paid for the set... But I kinda wish I would have. With the dummy cap, the low fuel light is always flashing and the display says low fuel all the time unless I change it with the trip button; kinda annoying but you don't notice it after about 5 minutes of riding. I did run out of gas one day though because I had not been paying attention to how far I rode. That sucked.

I am not helping the case for selling these am I?

Jim do you know what cable it is..? when I look at the guide I have NON ABS UPPER 41800108 and LOWER 48920-10 then I see it comes in Modular or 1 piece.. And as usual I will choose incorrectly so I will wait.. Damn Slammers have been sitting in a box in the Garage for over "Wife Corrected" 2 and a half months. "I think she means if they sit there any longer she is going to use that as another thing to point out about the large about of funds that have gravitated towards the bike.. But then again she is British and has no sense of humor so probably best to just ignore. hmm not sure which will work out best for me in the end.. Better get them installed soon..

Yeah I don't think that's helping much Captain. It probably wouldn't help me much selling my Adjustable Highway peg mounts (Long Angled) if I said something about how aggravated I was that they put the mount too close to my break lever. It's back to the drawing board for me on that one. Maybe I'll try the short angled. The worst part is I'm gonna lose money selling the long angled ones and the engine guard got scratched pretty good during the install. Anybody know how to fix powder coat scratches. I'm also selling my stock 2012 seat if anybody's interested.

I don't know any better, but I fear the answer you are going to get is by re-powdercoating.

I don't have the part number but when I changed my bars to the 2012 bars I had to use a longer upper ABS brake line. I ordered the stock line for the 2012 fatboy LO and it was about 2-3 inch longer.

keeping in mind that mine is non-ABS, I did the DiamondBlack brake lines, they're modular (upper and lower), the upper was P/N 48934-10 ($64.95), and the lower was P/N 48920-10 ($59.95).. though I think those part numbers have changed now, being that that brake line was recalled and replaced with an un-fudged version..which i don't know the part number to (though your dealer can cross-reference it)
