Pipe Question
Looking at some pipes for my Heritage. I got an opportunity to buy a set of Screamin Eagles or a set of Rush. Both are slipons and slightly used. Great price on them.
I've got both sets at home and have in installed the Rush, they may be a little loud for my taste (very little baffles). I heard the Screamin Eagles on the Heritage they come off of and they are not loud at all. My question is, do I need to remap anything to run these slipons?

I wasn't going to do anything to this bike. I was just going to run it stock but these pipes are in perfect condition and the guy only wants 100 bucks for them. I just don't want something too loud.
Probably the earlier SE's...I have the SE II's and they're midrange loud, fairly deep. But today was behind another Heritage with the Rouch's and thought they sounded tight and quite deep - girl on it said she can barely hear them, but her bologna tips were turned down; mine are turned out, as you can see.
You can easily make the SE's louder if you really wanna be obnoxious. Pull the baffles and drill out the holes a size larger. I mean A size, not five...it multiplies over that many holes, you see.

with the rush you have many choices for baffles and the sound you like. they have a good rumble but not loud with the 1.75 baffles.

I dunno man, it looks like you have yourself a set of those rappy-pappy obnoxious lookatme pipes there...and I wouldn't trade my SE II's for anything like them, even for money.
Point is, the SE's will get a bit louder over time for some reason, and can be modified VERY easily without having to buy stuff. I love the sound of 'em and as I've said before, my neighbors wave at me with ALL their fingers.
Let the guy get what he wants - plenty of them out there to listen to; just sit in front of a Hog dealership for an hour.
