WHAT ? GD I haven't been here in a while and this what happens BS. I have my bike at the shop right now getting the stage 2 installed and am supposed to get it back in the morning. What the Fk is a stage III ? What is the difference between the II & III ? Its probably to late as they called this afternoon as said it wouldn't be ready today, they were putting it all back together but would not be ready till morning. What the hell is a stage III ?
Well in the SE parts book it shows the stage III as having about 108 TQ and about 98 HP. With an MSRP of $1499.95 And the stage II having about 95 TQ and 80 HP. With and MSRP of $1199.95. So that comes down to about 13-15 more TQ and about 17-20 more HP for about $300.00 more. So you make the call. But trust me you will love the Stage II just as much.
I have just had my stage 3 fitted on a 2007 fatboy.
Even though it's just run in it certainly makes a noticeable difference
Pulls very strong in 6th and seems much quicker through the gears than before.
The enginee tone is also more of a bark now but thta might be due to my pipes V&H short shots.
I also run a Kuryaken Hyper Charger.
Typically though while the work was being done I had a chance to buy upgraded heads as well which I didnt have time to get fitted before my trip home so left this for now.
I'll just keep my eyes open for heads as I understand this is the next move to bring in plenty of extra power. The price of heads is usually about GBP 1,000 though so not sure if I would do that unless there was a deal on a set like the one I had.
Anyway a project for next year.
I'm sure you will like the upgrade. I was convinced when my dealer told me about the 20% discount..
Too late, called first thing this morning (7:30am) and they already had the motor work done and back together, Fk. Was told the difference would have been around $700. So now i'm going to go get me a new Gen4 G17, maybe that will make it all better ???

I think the only difference between a 2 and 3 is that the stage 3 has 259 cams. It also comes with different valve springs to accommodate the bigger lift of the 259 cams.
Just called my dealer and made a change to stage 4.... after looking deep in to it, i fiugred out that new heads are a must for this kind of upgrade....
Hope i made the best choice out of all 4.... would know soon I guess...
