Rocker Screamin Eagle Plug Wires, Why do they not fit?
Okay, the the title says it all... Why can't I get the Screamin Eagle Plug Wires to fit on my Rocker. This is the part number I ordered: 31967-08 They claim they fit. The dealer has ordered me two sets and each came the same way. No 90' bend in them just straight wires.
Have any of you gotten these for your Rocker? I know the Rocker set up is different than other softails so it requires that 90' bend or they wont work. Maybe the MOCO is packaging the wrong plugs in the boxes?
Strange... Had to go out to the garage & check. I have 2 sets (red & black, can't decide which one I prefer). Same item number as you ordered with a bend (not 90 but close) & most important, they fit.
yea, maybe it's not a 90' bend but as you said, yours DO fit. Both sets I have ordered are the same with no bend and do not. Both sets came to the dealership from HD.
Yea, where they go into the Grenade on the stock wires they are close to a 90' angle attachment. Yours look like the ones that came in the package and the dealer said, no to them fitting and staying put since they are so different than stock.
When I bought the bike those were a couple of parts to be installed before I took the bike home. The dealer ordered another set up for me to try them and same results. When the showed them too me who knows nothing about anything I agreed that they were WAY different that the stock plug wires. But if you guys are rolling with them and haven't had issues maybe I should go grab them up.?.
