You could do this.

Buy a replacement tanks from HD. I bought one for $405.00 deliver. It is primered and ready for paint. Then you could buy from RSD thier "Gas-It" Fuel Injection Kit.
+ =

HD Stock Componets + RSD Gas-It Kit = Ready to Ride

And modify the tank to make it work. Here is how it looks on a smaller tank.

Here is thier ad for it and what it said.

QUICK... STASH IT INSIDE THE TANK!
Building a custom tank for your fuel injected Harley? Wondering
how to cram all that fuel injection equipment into the tank? With
the RSD Gas-It Kit, your stock HD fuel injection parts are removed
and relocated inside the tank, allowing a clean, uncluttered tank
face, while maintaining the fuel injection we all love so much.

FEATURES:
Relocates OEM 01-07 Delphi Fuel Pump, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Fuel Filter
& Fuel Level Sending Unit To The Underside Of Your Custom Tank
A Smooth And Reliable Way To Hide All Fuel Injection Components
Includes Billet Machined Steel Weld-In Plate, 3.75” X 8” Aluminum Manifold,
Installation Instructions & All Hardware Included
Same Kit That Is Included With RSD Fuel-Injected Vintage Gas Tank Kits
Requires Vented Tank Or Vented Gas Cap
*Custom fabrication and welding required
*Your custom tank’s bottom must be relatively flat to accommodate port installation
*Not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled vehicles

Here is the info to order it is you are interested

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION = Gas-It Fuel Injection Kit
PART # = 1022-0046
SUG. RETAIL = $425.95

I hope this helps you out.

I know this RSD kit but i dont understand exactly how to put it on.
Some gas tanks have exact size of cutout in bottom to fit RSD or it must be fabricated ? I was thinking to put it on stock Rocker gas tank but there is no space.

You say replacement tank from HD - which one without dash and only one gas cap for Rocker? I was not able to find any (even searching aftermarlet) to fit latest softail. All of them says till 1999.

So if i take some 99 softail gas tank and put it together with RSD kit (question is how), will this fit Rocker?

Considering all these questions i started to think about that Thunderbike solution which is exactly for Rocker. Just the tank shape is not what want.....

The guy can make for me any gas tank i want. I like this one - wide and brutal. What do you think? He will use Thunderbike concept of fuel pump, etc. I think it will look cool on Rocker. He produced this tank actually, its picture of custom bike he made in past.

Masar, that tank looks awesome! That would probably look amazing on a rocker. I am interested to see if anyone goes this route...

this picture is not Rocker. anyway i started this project just to get rid off dash. Wanted to clean stock Rocker tank but its not so easy as i thought. Now i ended up with unfinished stock gas tank on floor thinking to get new one as its propably best solution...... using stock gas tank you still need some access from up and i dont like that fuel level gauge - lot of work must be done and effect is not what i want. I want fully clean tank with one gas cap in midle. So basically there will not by any dash, not fuel level gauge. I will just use small speedo close to bars with integrated warning lights as Dakota or similar.

I am just realy upset now because i started too late with this, spring is here and i am wasting time, can not ride........ I should start sooner or wait till next winter

WOW that is the tank to go with. Now that is the look I have been trying to get myself. I have been trying to figure out how to clean the tank and get rid of the console. I plan on using Dakota like yourself. If you go this route or and info on that tank I would greatly appreciate. Next winter is when I had planned on doing mine. Thanks and keep us informed.
