I need some help. I own a 1998 Fatboy. I'm replacing the starter this weekend. Do I need to remove the primary cover and the jacknut to get the starter out? Any tech help or tips would be appreciated, I never done this before.

 

Do you have a service manual? If not, I would highly recommend picking one up...
