Great thread! I have an 07 Deluxe and would love nothing more than to get the nacelle headlight cover on my bike! I have a cover from an 07 roadking. Will that fit with doing the necessary grinding of the light bar bracket that was discussed on this thread. Or has all this talk, about just simply grinding the bracket down, to have it fit right been for the HD nacelle cover kit from the Harley parts book? I hope my question makes sense. I just want to know can I make the roadking nacelle fit on my soft ail? Anything else I would have to do to have it fit properly aside from grinding and different risers? I would love to save the $400 by not having to buy the HD nacelle kit, thanks.

wont work bro, rk nacelle is wider then the softail. You could make it work with some spacers but it is going to make your cans look out of place because there will be a 1/2" gap on the outer edges
Hey guys...For those who don't want to grind their bar tabs down... Harley sells passing lamp mounts that bolt right up..They look like the stock deluxe ones if you removed the bar that connects the two sides. They are for touring bikes.
