Default How Does This Dyno Sheet Look?

Was at the dealer today talking to the Service Manager just kinda BSn around and asked him about the heat on the 2010s and the lean conditions. He said that they have never put a completely stock bike on the Dyno but his Techs are telling him they are not running as lean as they originally thought.

I told him that my 2010 FLSTSE was stock except for the 49 State Legal SE slip ons (without Cats). He said well....we are slow today lets do a pull and see what we got.

Anyway this is the Dyno sheet and his suggestion was that to leave it as is, would be happy to sell me a tuner but unless I wanted more power (which I don't care about) that he would just ride it and see how the heat was this summer.

So....I have no idea what this is telling me any info would be great.

That dyno sheet is tellin ya your 110" was well built, and has a real smooth torque curve. Your already pulling 100 ft.lbs. at 2000 rpm. That's good stuff.

Wow lots of torque right where you want it. I think I would leave it alone too. At least until the warranty is up. Good lookin pull for a stock bike.

Relatively speaking, it looks good. However, those are STD numbers, not SAE... so they are artificially inflated by 4 to 5%.

I have no idea what that means. All I want to do is have a good running bike that is relatively cool running. Does my AFR look good or do I need to get a tuner?

Thanks

STD is corrected for dense air @ 60F; SAE (the normal "benchmark") is corrected for average air at 77F. Bottom line, the dyno graph is accurate, but the hp/tq numbers are exagerated by ~5%.

It looks like a stout tune... good bottom end torque, plenty of power under the curve (below 5250rpm, where hp & tq always cross), and the AFR looks fine. I'm assuming the dashed red reference line is somewhere around 13.8? Can't really read it in that scanned pic. If that's the stock CVO tune, I'm really pleasantly surprised.

I thought they seemed high compared to what I have seen on hear, however; it is plenty for me.

You ask if thats the stock tune for the CVO.....is this not normal? I did not ask or have them do anything to the ECM. Seems like if they were trying to get me to buy something they would have made it look worse.

Thanks for your help it understand it a little better now.

I don't know that I've ever seen a dyno run from a stock CVO, but for a stock Harley, it's outstanding. I guess the CVO really does get you something besides 110" and more chrome.

Enjoy!
