Guys, after long search and i will propably pull trigger finally for new front end. I got one for reasonable price. Its SJP F-line, massive wide front and SJP is very good brand. However that one for discounted price is only available with 3 degrees rake in triple tree and 2" over stock FL.
The lenght shoul be ok, 2" over stock should be according SJP charts 765 mm - should be even shorter then factory Rocker front end if i calculate right. I do not want longer than factory definitely.
But how is the Rocker factory rake? Is it in frame only? I mean the original factory Rocker front end is 0 degree rake? I want at least same rake as i have now with factory set up or even more, so just question if that 3 degree is fine. I was looking for 6 degrees but that one is not discounted and price is too much.......
Question. I just put on a hack and they ( Motorvation) said if I rake it 5d it will handle better. But, the down side is you can't ride the bike as a two wheeler(with a 5d rake) and I want too. Why does it affect the riding of the bike? I'm old school and we just did what we wanted to in the past without anyone saying you couldn’t do that.

Rake: Forks: 38° and Frame: 37° (each rounded up one half a degree)
Trail: 6.20
thanks, but i dont get it. I am not expert in this so i am sorry..... What doeas the parameters above mean in comparison what aftermarket fork manufacturers say. I mean SJP has 3 options of front end (not consider lenght) 0,3 or 6 degrees rake. What does it mean in comparison with original Rocker front end when its 38 degrees as you mention above???
The above rake is in the frame.. 37* is the rake in the neck and 38* is the total rake in the forks.. If you buy a complete front end and it said 3* or 6* that is the additional degrees of rake int he triple trees in most instances.. 38* + 3*= 41* rake...

ok, starting to understand but if i understand right, should not be calculated like this?
if there is 3 deg rake in triple tree = 37 (frame) + 3 = 40 ???
And than it means that original factory Rocker rake in triple tree is 1 degree? 37 (frame) + 1 = 38 total as stated by factory?

Yes you are right. Add your aftermarket rake to the frame rake of the Rocker and you will have your new rake. Are you running a bigger wheel up front? Making the fork short with a higher rake seems counter productive to me...

You're right.. I was typing my response quickly and added the wrong number.. The neck rack is 37*.. Any additional rake in the trees will be added to that..
