The open primary looks bad azz. Not wild about the clutch/shift set up, but only because it isnt what I am used to. But it really opens up the bars and looks good. I like the oil tank also. Those ear plugs are a nice touch Have you thought about chroming your shifter?...j/k Is that paint or powder on your primary cover?

Skip, we're going to start a non-profit organization to raise money for you "Chrome For Skip", and we'll have that bike shined up in no time [sm=joke.gif]
How do you like the hand shift? Seems like it would be a difficult transition.
Is the dry clutch as smooth as a wet system?
Way to be different (I still like chrome, though!!)

I've ridden hand shift & foot clutch since the late '70s, usually a rocker clutch, though. It's more natural to me than a hand clutch after all these years. The suicide clutch makes you think a bit more, which might be a good thing - keeps you alert when you're fixin' to stop!

The dry clutch is from Rivera and comes with the belt drive. It's heads and shoulders above the stock clutch with way more plate area. It's smoother, too

The open primary is for cooling the Primo belt, but the looks ain't bad, either. Everything is painted; no powder coat. And all paint is rattle can right off the shelf at WalMart or Leowe's.

I had an old style 2 into 1 head pipe with a 30 inch fishtail extension, but the head pipes were made wrong and won't fit. I don't like the rear pipe cutting across the tranny cover. Who knows, someday I might want to slap on a kicker.

J.B. if you do the hand shift/foot clutch, hang on for an original rocker clutch. The repops sold are Taiwan junk. I wrote a tale about a ride home when the rocker clutch I had on this bike broke. It required extensive reworking to make it sound. If you can't cop an original, let me know and I'll give you the details on what you'll need to do to make the repop reliable.

It's nice bein' back on the road!
