I just bought a 2005 Harley Davidson Fatboy FLSTFI. I bought it from powerbrokers Inc. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I was told that it was a 15th Anniversary Limited Edition Fatboy. I am just wondering if there is anyway i can tell for sure. Any info or ideas would be great.
The Limited Edition models came in 2 colors Black or Pearl White I think. with a special (24k?) gold H-D emblem announcing that it is a limited edition. If you got the right bike you should have a 95" instead of the TC88. I have an '05 15th anniversary non-limited (just got the 95" Stage II kit put on. I love that bike. My bike is 2 tone silver and blue, but still has the 15th Anniversary emblem but not in gold.
I have one, they only came in black or silver, black oil tank ,polished wheels,as mentioned a gold badge on tank also a annv timing cover, factory installed 95 inch motor,a smaller mustang style seat and from what Ive read hd only made somewhere around 2500 total. Here are some photos of mine
Thanks my looks identical(sp) to yours.. However the guy at the dealership told me that the oil tank was chrome and was powder coated black.. But other than that it looks just like yours thanks for the help.
It will be either Black or Silver, has the factory 95ci engine with SE AC and a cover that says 95 Annv Edition. timing cover says annv, painted oil tank, dash console says Annv. Big Gold badges on the tank (keep them they are almost 200.00 from HD to replace) edges of the rims were chrome
