Just bought a train?
Also the bike is denim blue and I have never seen a blue train. Is this a limited color from Harley or was it painted after it was bought previously?
I'm thinking about painting it black.
Only have about 5 miles on the bike (it just keeps raining) but so far it's everything I expected. Thanks for any info...drf
Go check out the Night Train Picture Thread... you'll get some great ideas from there.
Hope it stops raining so you can put some miles on her.
Oh yah invest in a manual it's worth it!

Use high test gas in it, 91 is OK, but if you like to crank on the throttle, and sooner or later you will.
93 is a better choice and even at todays prices its worth the extra buck for a tank full if it reduces the chances of detonation problems as the air temp starts climbing.
Like others have said get a manual off ebay or one of the dicount parts suppliers (Zenoti's or Chicago HD), but if your at all interested in getting serious with a wrench. Forget the owners manual and go for the bigger and better service manual, get a parts manual while your at it.
It may not have the little things like which button does what, or how to disable the security system. But it will tell you how to take the bike apart and more importantly how to put it back together the right way.
Eventually you will realize its going to end up being the cheapest and most useful investment you can get for your bike.
Welcome to the 'Softail' side of life.

Everyone has a black night train though (myself included)...
I love my Black Denim Night Train, however if the Pacific Blue Denim was still available I totally would have gone for it...
